Abstract
PURPOSE:To minimize the leak of refrigerant as well as prevent the baking seizure of vane-sliding face by forming a dynamic pressure bearing by which to positively generate a pressure by wedge oil film in the relative moving surface between the side of vane and a side plate. CONSTITUTION:The side 10 of a vane 4 is formed at an obtuse angle, not right angle, to the sliding face 7 on running side. If the sides of both faces of a vane 4 are shaped into tapered form, oil film between both faces relatively slides in the form of a wedge and a shearing pressure is therefore generated by the wedge oil surface. And, when high-viscous lubricating oil exists abundantly on the side of the rotor 2, an oil surface is effectively formed, so that the leak of refrigerant traversing the vane 4 can be minimized by setting up proper taper angle of the vane 4, and also baking seizure encountered during the high-speed rotation can be prevented.
