Abstract

PURPOSE: To control frictional loss, heat generation, etc., by pressing a valve plate on a cylinder block by plural balance pistons in order to absorb faultiness of matching in the distributing surface of fluid.
CONSTITUTION: A spring 9a gives an initial load to a piston 9 and the piston 9 gives a valve plate 8 a thrust load proportional to the working pressure of a fluid toward frontal side, thus resulting in a stable supporting condition over the whole range of working condition. On the other hand, an opening force by the distribution of pressure of fluid leaking around port acts on the contact face between the valve plate 8 and a cylinder block 4 and thereby the thrust force of a balance piston 9 is balanced under static pressure with the opening force, forming a static thrust bearing. The is, the valve plate 8 is pressed by the cylinder block 4 by means of plural balance pistons 9, so that faultiness of matching in the distributing surface of fluid due to machining error and thermal deformation is absorbed and therefore, frictional loss, heat geneation, etc. can be suppressed.
