Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of power consumption, by detecting the paging call given from the base station and supplying the electric power to the transmission/ reception circuit only when the self-telephone is called. CONSTITUTION:Receiving a periodical supply of electric power from the transistor 31, the paging reception part 41 performs a reception of the saving control channel and turns on the transistor 31 consecutively via the control part 42 when detecting the preamplification signal. The transistor 61 is turned on at the telephone battery saving circuit 6 when the paging control part 42 detects that the self-telephone is called. Thus the power B is supplied to the transmission/reception circuit 5 to carry out a reception of the connecting channel.
