Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a fire resistant material for spraying easy to melt and causing no pulsatory motion in a nozzle by binding many primary particles made of fire resistant material to form secondary particles and specifying the particle size to a certain range. CONSTITUTION:A fire resistant material of alumina, zircon, magnesia or the like is pulverized to <=20muwt. average diameter. To the resulting primary particles are added a binder, water, etc., and secondary particles of 30-500muwt. average diameter are formed by granulation. This fire resistant material for spraying has fluidity in a nozzle and is melted with a flame after spouting from the nozzle, so a dense sprayed layer with superior hot properties can be formed.
