Abstract

The transfer pawl 5 makes a reciprocating motion given by a moving block 6 that makes a reciprocating motion along guide bars 7 by a driving wire 17. Though the driving wire 17 and detecting wire 19 are mounted to coaxial sprockets, a shaft 12 stops in rotary motion and a shaft 11 still continues rotation when a work is blocked and stopped in a groove, then the loosened wire 19 is detected by a detecting rollr 20 as an abnormal state, thus occurrence of trouble can be early detected to carry out correct control of the feed operation.
