Abstract

Also, the upper part of the hollow cylinder is provided with a rotary slurry supply pipe 6 and a rotary crystal scraper 7. a slurry from a slurry inlet pipe 12 is directed into a slurry supply pipe 6 and then supplied through the rotary supply pipe 6 with the aid of a driver 13 into the filtering portion 1 where solids are separated from liquid. Crystals deposited up to the upper part of the filtering portion 1 are scraped down successively into a storage tank 10 outside the outer circumference of the annular filtering portion 1 or inside the inner circumference by means of the crystal scraper 7.
