Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain excellent acoustic characteristics combined with superior acoustic characteristics of a metal plate while displaying acoustic characteristics of paper by obtaining smooth layers by smoothing the surfaces of original paper made of a vegetable fiber and then by forming nonelectrolytic nickel-plated layers on the surfaces of the smooth layer to a fixed thickness. CONSTITUTION:For dynamic-speaker acoustic diaphragm 1, original paper 2 made of a vegetable fiber is used as its substrate and the top and reverse surfaces of this original paper 2 are smoothed to form smooth layers 3a and 3b of resin, etc. Further, nonelectrolytic nickel-plated layers 4a and 4b are evenly formed by bonding on surfaces of smooth layers 3a and 3b without immersing into the original paper. The thicknesses of those nickel-plated layers 4a and 4b are fixed within a range of 0.03-0.3 in ratio of half the thickness of original paper 2 and excellent characteristics having acoustic characteristics of both paper and a metal plate can be obtained.
