Abstract
PURPOSE:To stably mount a metallic cap by completely forming a lead wire which is lead to a fluorescent tube end and accurately holding the metallic cap. CONSTITUTION:Fluorescent tube V is intermittently transported in direction X. A lead wire spacing regulator 2 controls tapered and projected lead wires l1 and l2 from the end of the fluorescent tube V at a specified gap. These controlled lead wires l1 and l2 are corrected by the lead wire corrector 3 with a pair of correcting pawls. The lead wires l1 and l2 corrected by the lead wire spacing are mutually made parallel. In a metallic mounting device 7, by positioning and holding both the lead wires l1 and l2 and metallic pin (f), respectively, and relatively moving either fluorescent tube V or metallic cap in (f) one from the other, the lead wires l1 and l2 are inserted and metallic cap (f) is mounted on fluorescent tube V.
