Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure to separate the voice signal and control signal without using a filter, by making equal the output amplitude from two magnetic recording tracks and obtaining the sum and difference components. CONSTITUTION:The matrix circuit 30 of a reproducing device consists of the 1st addition circuit 31, end addition circuit 32, phase inversion circuit 33, and attenuator 34, and the attenuation (m) of the attenuator 34 is selected equal to the amplitude ratio of the two reproducing head output signals. If the output of the 1st reproducing head is greater in the amplitude, the output of the 1st reproducing head is divided into two via the attenuator 34, and one is fed to the addition circuit 31 and another is fed to the addition circuit 32. The output of the 2nd reproducing head is divided into two. One is fed to the addition circuit 32 via a phase inversion circuit 33 and another is directly fed to the addition circuit 31. With the constitution like this, the voice and control signals are completely separated without a filter.
