Abstract

PURPOSE: To titled seaming liquid, capable of detecting a part of incomplete seam working readily with ultraviolet irradiation, and prepared by dissolving a fluorescent dye in a solvent capable of dissolving a synthetic resin constituting a synthetic resin floor finish material or a dope cement containing the synthetic resin.
CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent dye is dissolved in a solvent, e.g. tetrahydrofuran or methyl ethyl ketone, capable of dissolving a synthetic resin constituting a synthetic resin floor finish material, preferably a vinyl chloride resin sheet as a base material, or a dope cement prepared by dissolving the synthetic resin, e.g. vinyl chloride or vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, is a solvent in a concentration of preferably 0.001W0.1wt% to give a seaming solution. The resultant seaming solution is injected and filled into a seam of a floor finish material to form a seaming liquid film, which is then irradiated with ultraviolet light to carry out the seam working of the synthetic resin floor finish material.
