Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the composite editing of pictures, by providing a means of erasing the part of a latent image formed by a latent-image forming means with a flying spot modulated by an electric signal, and a moving means of moving a multiple copying device. CONSTITUTION:To compositely edit the 1st original M1 and 2nd original M2, the 1st original M1 is divided into part S1 to be copied and part S1' to be uncopied, and the 2nd original M2 is divided into part S2 to be copied and part S2' to be uncopied; the parts to be uncopied are partially erased from both the originals. On the other hand, a moving means is provided which moves the transfer reference position of M2 as an inserted original to the latent-image reference position of M2 in main- and subscanning directions by XY after M1 as a reference original is transferred to transfer material 19. Then, superposition transfer to the transfer material on which the 1st original M1 is previously transferred is performed to obtain a composite edited picture.
