Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove disturbance signals in making measurement by detecting a Doppler signal through filter circuits and inhibiting the counting of the zero cross signal for a prescribed time after the emission of the zero cross signal, in a Doppler speedometer. CONSTITUTION:The radio waves emitted from an antenna 1 to a moving body M are again received in an antenna 1, and are mixed with transmission waves and are detected in a transmitter-receiver 2. This detection signal passes through BPF.FA, FB, FC through a switch SW2 which is changed over according to speeds, whereby only the Doppler signal is selected. This Doppler signal is amplified 4, and a zero cross signal is detected 5, is applied to a monostable circuit 6 and is counted 7. At this time, the output of the monostable circuit 6 is also applied to a time inhibiting gate 13, by which an AND circuit 14 is closed for a fixed time, so that no zero cross signals are counted.
