Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the connection of optical fibers and an apparatus by a method wherein a terminal for a wire to which wires are connected and a photoelectric converting terminal base are attached on a substrate, the optical fibers, tips thereof have luminous diodes, are inserted into V-shaped block sections formed to the terminal base, and the diode side is opposed against the terminal for the wire. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 14 for a wire to which a plurality of wires 2 are connected are fastened to one end section of a substrate 13, and a photoelectric converting terminal base 1 is mounted to the other end section, being opposed against the terminal 14. In such constitution, a plurality of fixed holes 17 and V-shaped blocks 18 communicating with the holes are previously formed to a frame 15 of the terminal base 1, optical fibers 3, to tips thereof luminous diodes 16 are each connected, are inserted into these blocks 18 and tightened by means of hold down plates 16, and the diode 16 side is opposed against the wires 2. Thus, the connection of the optical fibers and an apparatus or the exchange of the fibers can be simplified.
