Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the efficient use of the combustion heat of fuel, by a method wherein an upper and a lower heat receiving tube, a water passage part at a top plate, and a water passage part at a cirumferential wall are located around a combustion chamber of a container.

CONSTITUTION: A fire door 5 is formed in a circumferential wall of a cylindrical copper boiler body 1 whose opening is covered with a top plate 2, and a chimney 12 is connected to the upper part of the boiler body 1. The circumferential wall of the boiler body 1 and the top plate 2 are double-constructured to form a water passage part 17 in which a water passage part 14 at the circumferential wall and a water passage part 15 at a top plate are connected together, and the water passage part 17 is joined to a bathtub 19. An upper heat receiving tube 21 is positioned at the upper part of the boiler body 1 and a lower heat receiving tube 22 at the lower part thereof to connect together the tubes and the water passage part 17. After the bathtub 19, the water passage part 17, and the upper and lower heat receiving tubes 21 and 22 are filled with water, fuel, placed on the lower heat receiving tube 22, is fired. Combustion gas heats water in the upper and lower heat receiving tubes 21 and 22, the water passage part 15, and the water passage part 14 at the circumferential wall, and water in the bathtub 19 circulates to be heated in a short period of time.
