Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the connection part between switching units to make wide- band communication possible, by setting a direct service line according to the Ac traffic load between switching units by the highway switch in the electronic switching system. CONSTITUTION:Switching units 11-1N measure traffic loads, which occur in subscriber's lines 2 or trunk lines 3 stored in units 11-1N and go toward other switching units, for every other-party switching unit respectively and transfer these traffic loads to line assignment control device 7. Line assignment control device 7 calculates service line assignment between units on a basis of system conditions of numbers of transmission highways 51-5N and receiving highways 61-6N between respective switching units and highway switch 4, capacities of highways, and so on, and line assignment control device 8 determines highway frame assignment to set service lines by time division multiplex highway switch 4 on a basis of the calculation result of device 7. Consequently, hardware in the connection part between units and the channel setting processing are simplified, and the channel memory is needless, and thus, wide-bard communication is possible.
