Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure efficient and safety running of wind and hydraulic machinery such as compressor and blower, by monitoring totally or separately the efficiency of machinery under each running conditions.
CONSTITUTION: An efficiency monitor 26 totally or separately calculates the efficiency of a compressor on the basis of readings from detectors 20-23. A comparator 27 compares the total actual efficiency observed by the monitor 26 with the reference efficiency. An indicator 29 indicates corrective measures to be taken in accordance with the difference between the value obtained by the comparator 27 and the reference value under the same running conditions. A console 30 puts the corrective measures in memory and a display 25 visually indicates all operating information including those from the comparator 27 and the indicator 29.
