Abstract
PURPOSE: To form the captioned efficient device by thrusting a needle member supported by an advancing-retreating mechanism against the surface of a bowl and thereby bleeding air in an air pool formed between the surface of the bowl and a film.
CONSTITUTION: In the pipe-form main body 19 of a shaft is provided a rubber tube 21 connected with an air supplying-exhausting port 20, while a rag plate 23 provided with a rag plate 25 which is capable of advancing into and retreating from a long groove 22 provided in the main body 19 of the shaft, and the needle member 10 provided with a number of pin parts 10a is fitted to the rag plate 25, whereby an air-bleeding shaft 10 is formed. Next, on the entrance side of the 2nd bowl 2 and the 3rd bowl 3 of the topping calender, the afore-said air-bleeding chaft 11 is arranged while being supported movably forward and backward by an air cylinder 12. When the air bleeding action is conducted, the cylinder 12 is operated to set the shaft 11 in an operational position (just in front of the 2nd bowl 2) shown by a mark A, the needle member 10 is made to perform the advancing-retreating action by repeating the supply and exhaust of air through the air supplying-exhausting port 20, a rubber film R1 is pierced by the pin part 10a, whereby air is bled from the air pool.
