Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily obtain the orientation film having prescribed strength and elongation by providing the peripheral part of an elongation disc at a certain interval to a mandrel and by selecting the elongation disc to manufacture a resin film having different physical properties. CONSTITUTION:The 1st mandrel 3 is provided with a vacuum slit 3a sucking a tubular resin film F, and the elongation disc 4 is provided on the upperstream side of the mandrel 3 in close contact with the latter, while only the peripheral surface part thereof is separated from the mandrel 3 at a certain interval by an air reservoir part 5 formed therein. On the downstream side of the mandrel 3 are provided a guide plate 6 and further in the downstream thereof the 2nd mandrel 7 which is provided with a vacuum slit 7a sucking the tubular resin film F. In the case when the film is molded, two kinds or more of the elongation discs out of an elongation disc having an angular edge on the side of a die, an elongation disc having a round edge on the side of the die and an elongation disc having a peripheral surface coated with resin are prepared, and the resin film having different physical properties is manufactured by selecting the elongation disc.
