PURPOSE:To make possible the reading out and collating of the inputted text with a manuscript through the addition of simple circuit by synthesizing the voice signals corresponding to the specific part of the text displayed on a display means and outputting the same as voice. CONSTITUTION:The text inputted from a keyboard 2 to a word processor part 1 is displayed on a CRT3. When the operator finishes inputting a series of text and pushes the reading out and collation key 4 provided to the keyboard 2, a reading out and collation control part 5 starts operating to transfer the characters in the text successively to a voice synthesizing part 6. In the synthesizing part 6, the syllables corresponding to the characters having been transferred or the beep sounds having beforehand been assigned are synthesized and are outputted from a speaker 7. Thereby, the discovery of errors in the text is accomplished while approaching human errors to nil.
