Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the arrangememt of machinery such as an opening an closing actuator by designing the right and left body parts which define a ship hold to be capable of opening and closing by means of a hydraulic cylinder, while a bow and a stern are built integrally.
CONSTITUTION: A ship's hold top member 1c and a ship hold bottom center member 1d are provided between the bow and stern forming a hull main body 1. The ship's hold top member 1c is mounted with two pairs of body parts 3a, 3a and 3b, 3b all of which are connected at the top to the member 1c by the respective hinges 2. These body parts 3a, 3a and 3b, 3b define a split type ship hold 3. These body parts 3a, 3a and 3b, 3b are closed when they are in contact with the ship's hold bottom center member 1d, whereas they are opened when a hydraulic cylinder extends.
