Abstract

PURPOSE: To molded article, having improved resistance to heat, thermal deterioration and chemicals and reduced oligomer migration, and prepared by irradiating with actinic rays and crosslinking a molded article of a saturated linear polyester or polyamide having specific structural units.
CONSTITUTION: A molded article of a polymer obtained by incorporating, preferably copolymerizing, (A) a saturated linear polyester or polyamide with (B) 0.01W 50mol%, based on the total ester or amide bonds in the component (A), structural units expressed by formula I (R1 and R2 are organic groups; m and n are numbers 0W3) is irradiated with actinic rays, preferably ultraviolet rays and crosslinked. Preferably, 50% or more dicarboxylic acid residues are benzene dicarboxylic acid residues and 50% or more glycol residues are 2W10C alkylene glycol in the component (A) for the polyester. 50mol% or more repeating units are preferably expressed by formula II or III (a is a number 5W11; b is a number 2W6; c is a number 2W 10) for the polyamide.
