PURPOSE:To enhance the resolution of reproduced image by providing a vibrating plate in a part near the nozzle of a manifold connecting plural nozzles through which ink droplets are injected to an ink chamber. CONSTITUTION:A vibrating plate 17, having plural holes 18 equal to or smaller than the diameter of a manifold 3, is put between elastic parts 19 connected to the manifold 3 and its one end is provided with a vibrator 15. Ink is supplied under pressure through a supply pipe 6 and a supply hole 5 into an ink chamber 4 and then injected in a columnar form from a nozzle 2 through the manifold 3. In this case, when vibration from the vibrator 15 is transmitted through the plate 17 to the ink of the manifold 3, ink droplets are separated from the tip of ink injected in a columnar shape and injected. Thus, as the nozzle plate 1, a material having better processing accuracy than metals, e.g., silicon wafer, etc., can be used.
