Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the influence of solar cell voltage on a clock circuit by a method wherein the power charged by a capacitor being charged by a cell drives a clock circuit and during noncharged time of said capacitor the solar cell electromotive force charges the cell. CONSTITUTION:A clock circuit 21 is driven by the power charged at a capacitor 22. When the power of the capacitor 22 is consumed to lower the voltage, an inverter 22L puts out signals to raise Q1 of a flip-flop 23 to a high level and the capacitor 22 is charged through a transistor 24. When the power of the capacitor 22 reaches a fixed value, the inverter 22H puts out the output to invert the flip-flop 23. While charging the capacitor 22, the transistor 27 turns OFF to cut off a solar cell 28. At this time the transistor 25 turns ON and when the voltage of the cell 30 is over a fixed value, the transistor 26 turns OFF to stop the charging by the solar cell 28.
