Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a stable supply of ink irrespective of the rocking motion of an ink receptacle, by a method wherein a funnel-shaped shelter body is placed between a filter and an ink level. CONSTITUTION:A filter 14 is mounted on an ink receptacle 2 by the aid of a protection cover 15 and an O-ring 16. A funnel-shaped shelter body 13 having an opening part 13a is placed under the filter 14. Air passes through the filter 14 from the opening of the protection cover 15, and is fed into the ink receptacle 2 through the opening part 13a of the shelter body 13 for maintaining the inside of the receptacle at atmospheric presure. The shelter body 13 is formed in a funnel as described above, whereby a rocking wave surface is checked with the ink receptacle wall and the shelter body 13 and is prevented from contacting the filter 14 even if the receptacle 2 is shaked.
