Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to absorb vibration of an engine and to accomplish synchronized opening and closing of a plurality of throttle valves, by interposing a vibration-absorbing member between a plurality of cylinder bodies and respective mixing bodies for feeding mixture to respective cylinders.
CONSTITUTION: A V-type engine used in a motor cycle has cylinders 10, 10 arranged in a V-shpae, and intake passages 12 of respective cylinders 10 are connected to a surge tank 40 via mixing bodies 14. In each of the mixing bodies 14, a throttle valve 24 is supported in privotally movable manner. These throttle valves 24 disposed in these mixing bodies 14 are arranged such that their valve shafts 26 are turned synchronously with each other by the same control plate via a linkage (not shown). Here, one end of a vibration-absorbing member 16 made of rubber or the like is inserted into a support plate 18 which is fixed to the cylinder 10, and one end portion 20 of the mixing body 14 is inserted into the other end portion of the member 16. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to prevent transmission of vibration of the cylinders 10 to the mixing bodies 14.
