Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the frequency dependance of the input capacity of the wide band amplifier upon the frequency, by correcting the influence of the dielectric constant of the insulating material, which holds the input circuit, upon the frequency characteristic in respect to the circuit.
CONSTITUTION: Branch circuit 8 and cpacitor 10 are provided additionally in the wide band amplifier. If the low-band attenuation ratio of branch circuit 8 corresponding to the voltage amplification factor of amplifying circuit 2 is set to a prescribed value, a voltage which is the same phase as input teminal 1 and is equal to the voltage at input terminal 1 is obtained at output terminal 9 of branch circuit 8 in the low frequency band. If a capacitive impedance is added between output terminal 9 and the earth in branch circuit 8 so that the high-band attenuation ratio is increase to reduce the impedance between output terminal 9 and the earth, the voltage generated at output terminal 9 is reduced according to increment of the frequency in the high frequency band. Therefore, the differential potential between both ends of capacitor 10 is increased according to increment of the frequency to increase the input current.
