Since the hook 13 is moved at a prescribed distance in this case, the length of the terminal 1d is fixed constantly. Then, the hook 13 is removed from the terminal 1d and returned to the initial position, the nozzle 4 is rotated again successively, the wire material 6 is wound, and thus the coil 1 is formed. By this method, the stiffness of the terminal can be increased and, in addition, the flat coil of which the position and length of the terminal are made constantly stable can be obtained.
