Abstract

PURPOSE: To effect a seal gap adjusting in high accuracy by a system wherein a gap between an end surface of an outer circumference of a rotor and a surface of a sector plate is detected and operation of a sector plate driving motor is controlled by a time-width pulse in proportional to an amount deviated from a set value.
CONSTITUTION: A seal gap is measured by a non-contacting type sensor i utilizing a thermal deformation of a rotor as a disturbance, and a deviation signal between a signal (2) produced by the seal gap measurement and a set signal (a) from a gap setter a is set to an analog switch c through a proportion adjuster b, further, is sent to analog timers d1, d2 transducing an output 3 into a time function in accordance with an measurement objective portion determined by a synchronized signal (1).
