Abstract
PURPOSE: Acrylic synthetic fibers having improved electric conductivity due to the point charge leak phenomenon, and excellent fiber properties, comprising the two phase structure consisting of the conductive and the non-conductive parts (C) and (N) wherein (C) is locally concentrated.
CONSTITUTION: Acrylic synthetic fibers comprising (A) a non-conductive part consisting of an acrylonitrile copolymer containing an unsaturated monomer having a basic group of the formula (R1 is H or methyl group; R2 and R3 are methyl or ethyl groups; n is an integer 2W4) and (B) a conductive part consisting of an acrylonitrile polymer containing carbon black. The area occupied by the part (B) is preferably 60% or less based on the total cross-sectional one on the average, and the part (B) is concentrated locally.
