Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable digital processing by providing a position detecting signal generator at a position delayed over 90 deg. from a coil which is at an angle theta1 from the top dead center or adding another generator to detect the number of revolutions. CONSTITUTION:Separating the position of a coil pulser which detemines the angle of a maximum advancing angle by nearly 100 deg. from coil 7, coil 8a is provided being set as the standard point of counting the number of revolution and a time from a magnet 5 to a magnet 6a is used for the number of revolution. That is, the coil 7 is used as an initial position and with time T11 from there to the coil 8a, the number of revolution is counted by a computer software. From the valve, the computer calculates during time T21 and determines timing T41 to switch on an ignition current. In order that time T31 during which the ignition current flows may be kept constant, the ignition current is cut off when the time T31 passes and a spark is fired.
