Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent blurring of color to obtain a good-quality picture by subjecting a luminance signal to the secondary differentiation to detect the change part of the luminance signal and by using this detected output signal to modulate the color signal after demodulation and by making change parts of the luminance signal and the color signal equal to each other approximately.
CONSTITUTION: The luminance signal caused to pass through delay line 9 is applied to transistor Tr18 of secondary differentiating circuit 16, and the polarity-inverted secondary differentiation signal is outputted from the output of transformer 21, and the secondary differentiation signal is outputted from Tr23, which constitutes an emitter follower, and is applied to color difference signal modulator circuit 17. Color difference signals R-Y and B-Y demodulated by color demodulator circuit 12 are applied to matric circuit 13, and output color signals R-Y, G-Y and B-Y from circuit 13 are applied to circuit 17 and are modulated by the secondary differentiation signal, and rise and break parts of these signals are made sharp to make change parts of the luminance signal and the color signal equal to each other approximately. Thus, protrusion of color is prevented to project a good-quality picture onto CRT15.
