Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify IC-implementation and also to increase transmission efficiency, by providing a two-wire/four-wire converter driven by a sampling pulse. CONSTITUTION:An input signal arriving from four-wire communication line 2 is sampled by sampling circuit 3, the output of which is led to the input circuit of differential amplifier 4. The output of differential amplifier 4 is led to two-wire communication line 1 through matching circuit 5. The sum of a signal appearing at two- wire communication line 1, i.e. that sent out from matching circuit 5 and an arrival signal from a party office to the two-wire communication line is inputted to differential amplifier 7, whose output is supplied to sample holding circuit 8. The read output of the sample holding circuit is sent out to four-wire communication line 2' via driver circuit 9. One output of pulse generating circuit 11 is supplied to sampling circuit 3 while the other is sent to sample holding circuit 8 by way of phase shifting circuit 12.
