Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the copying of confidential documents and the like and ease the administration of confidential documents by forming a metal thin film on one surface of a thin film of synthetic resins to form the reflecting film of a required reflectance and attaching this on the stated surface of the confidential documents and the like to be prevented from being copied. CONSTITUTION:A reflecting film 3 is made by forming a metal thin film 3' of Al or the like on one surface of a thin film 4 of transparent synthetic resins by such a method as plating, vapor deposition or coating as thinly as possible to a coarse density. This reflecting film 3 is directly bonded onto the stated surface 2 of the paper 1 for statement to be prevented from being copied or the reflecting film 3 is beforehand bonded to the inner or outer side of a cover 5 of transparent synthetic resins and is then attached onto the written surface 2. As a result of this, it reflects most of rays of the lighting necessary for copying and the copying finish becomes blurred to the extent of making the contents of the stated surface 2 illegible, and yet, in the ordinary use, the contents are legible by the slight transmitted light remained in the reflecting film 3.
