Abstract
PURPOSE: To effect humidification promptly and to enable to increase the absolute amount of steam in response to the change in heating performance, by disposing a humidifying steam generating means above a burner so that the former is heated directly by the latter.
CONSTITUTION: Water supplied to water tank 7 is carried into humidifying steam generating means 6 disposed upwardly of burner 5. In the steam generating means 6, water is heated directly by burner 5 and humidifying steam thus produced is issued from outlet port 8 for humidifying air in the room or the like. Since steam generating means 6 is thus heated directly by burner 5, water in means 6 is evaporated promptly so that humidification is effected efficiently. Further, abosolute amount of steam is made greater than that of the conventional arrangements. Moreover, since temperature of steam produced in means 6 in liquid phase and gas phase is varied with change of heating performance, temperature of steam is raised at the time of "high" heating operation so that a large amount of steam is produced resultantly.
