Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce considerably probability for the trouble of an operator by stopping the operation of a facsimile unit in case that the cause of anomaly exists in the transmission side and by continuing successive multiple address transmission in case that it exists in the receiving side.
CONSTITUTION: In the transmission process of the successive multiple address system where the same data is transmitted to plural destinations successively in the facsimile communication system, anomaly detection circuit 4 detects anomaly and outputs it to anomaly discrimination circuit 5 when anomaly occurs in the course of operations of procedures. In case that it is decided by circuit 5 that the cause of anomaly exists in the transmission side, anomaly display part 6 is operated, and the decision result is reported to facsimile control part 7 to stop the operation of the facsimile unit. In case that it is decided that the cause of anomaly exists in the receiving side, automatic call is performed to call the next destination facsimile unit designated by successive multiple address control part 3.
