Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent concrete and sheet piles from being in direct contact with each other and to enable pulling off of and the re-use of the sheet piles, by applying a separating member, such as cross or bituminous material, to a surface of the sheet pile, such as H-shaped steels, buried in a shoring wall.
CONSTITUTION: Concrete 2 is placed in a bored hole 1, sheet piles 3 being driven into a fresh concrete 2 to cast a concrete shore. Or the sheet piles 3 are previously set in the bored hole 1 at given intervals, the concrete 2 being deposited between the sheet piles 3 to construct said shore. A material 4, such as corss, or bituminous material, etc., is applied to a surface of the sheet piles 3 thereupon, and thereby the concrete 2 is kept from being in direct contact with the sheet piles 3. After an expected purpose of the shoring wall is achieved, the sheet piles 3 are pulled off for re-using. This permits the re-use of the sheet piles such as expensive shape steels, and thus, a construction cost can be reduced sharply.
