Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the badness of distribution of photo energy due to deviation, etc., of optical axis by eliminating variables by polarizing light beam by utilizing electro-optical effect and acoustic optical effect and then distributing the polarized light beam to each cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The light beam 10 from the photo energy generator 1 is sent to the light polarizer 14 through the light path 13 of the distributor 12. The light polarizer 14 polarizes the light beam 10 to differently directed light beams 10a and 10b by cylinder-ground crank angle. The energy of the light beam irradiated into the combustion chamber 9a or 9b is absorbed in mixed gas and thus the mixed gas is heated to a high temperature rapidly and then fired to explode.
