Abstract
PURPOSE: To load a film cartridge easily and without fail, by moving the film containing part or take-up part of film cartridge automatically with respect to the other by utilizing the closing motion of back lid of camera.
CONSTITUTION: A photographic film cartridge 1 consists of a film containing part 2 to contain a roll of raw film, and a film take-up part 3 to take up the film after photographing. With a back lid 11 being open, the film cartridge 1 is in coupled state, and the containing part 2 is held by a holding member 13 and the take-up part 3 by a holding member 12. When the back lid 11 is closed, the take-up part holding member 12 is housed in the film take-up chamber 7, and the containing part holding member 13 slides up to the position shown by alternate long and short dash line in the longitudinal direction of the back lid 11 and is housed in the film containing chamber 6. This sliding means is given by a lever 28 of which one end is secured to the main body 9 and other end to the containing part holding member 13. In this way, the film can be loaded easily and without fail.
