Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate handling of a solar heat collecting apparatus, by coating velvet-like metal oxide and/or oxy oxide on selective absorption surface with a hydrophobric organic substance having a melting point or softening point of 40W 250°C, and thereby protecting the velvet-like surface.
CONSTITUTION: In a solar heat collecting apparatus using heat collecting panels, in which base plate of the panels is made of copper and copper alloy, aluminum and aluminum alloy, nickel-plated iron plae, etc. coated on its surface with a film of velvet-like or smut-like metal oxide and/or oxy oxide which serves as selective absorption surface, a hydrophobric organic substance having a melting point or softening point of 40W250°C is coated on the surface of said base plate. After assembling such heat collecting panels thus fabricated in the solar heat collecting apparatus, it is baked with water being drained to the outside and said organic substance is evaporated so that its emissivity becomes lower than 0.5. By thus manufacturing the apparatus, it is enabled to remove such difficulties that velvet-like surface is damaged by hands coming into contact with the same, for instance, at the time of assembling the apparatus.
