Abstract

PURPOSE: A liuqid ionomer coated on the inner surface of metal pipes is crosslinked through metal salts formed from coated chemicals by ionizing the inner surface of metal pipes to form uniform coating layers on the inner surface of metal pipes with firm adhesion.
CONSTITUTION: Chemical b ionizing metals after pipe formation is charged from tank 4 into metal pipe 1 with open ends by pressurizer 5 and then recovered to tank 6 by pushing piece 3b for expeling chemical b out of pipe with the air pressurized by device 5. At the same time, the metal of pipe on the inner surface is ionized by chemical b coated thereon and lids 7 are fitted to both ends of pipe and air-supplying blower 8 and air-expeling blower 9 are connected. Then liquid ionomer c crosslinking through metal salts formed by chemical b is charged from tank 10 through mixer 11 into pipe 1. Thus, ionomer c comes into contact with chemical b and is crosslinked through formed metal salts.
