Abstract
PURPOSE: The title medicime capable of causing only green lever to be infected with a laver blight to destroy it, having no influence upon amanori (laver), blending with a fertilizer to grow laver, comprising an inorganic and an organic salts of a specific element, e.g., Al, Cu, Ni, and Co as active ingredients.
CONSTITUTION: An expellent medicine of green laver comprising an inorganic salt (e.g., aluminum chloride or copper sulfate) and an organic salt (e.g., cobalt acetate or ferric citrate) of an element, e.g., Al, Cu, Ni, Co, Fe, Sn, Pb, Zn, Mo, Mn, As, Sb, Si, Ge, and B as active ingredients. An acid, particularly one having chelating properties (e.g., citric acid, malic acid) is preferably used together. The expellent medicine only destroys green laver and have hardly influence upon amanori (laver). The medicine causes only a little delay in the growth of laver and its blend with fertilizer improves the growth of laver. In stamping out, the expellent medicine is dissolved in seawater to prepare a solution, in which laver nets and laver elbows are preferably immersed.
