Abstract

PURPOSE:To conduct irradiation treatment for multi-kind small-amount products by moving a movable tunnel-shaped ultraviolet-ray irradiation chamber along the whole length of a rod-shaped body precoated with an ultraviolet-curable paint. CONSTITUTION:A rod-shaped body 2 is precoated on its outside surface with an ultraviolet-curable paint. With the body 2 to be treated supported by a rod receiver 5 and a chuck 1 having a rotating drive system, a tunnel-shaped ultraviolet-ray irradiation chamber 4 movable along the whole length of the body 2 is moved on a rail 3, to conduct irradiation treatment. By this, the whole surface of the body 2 is cured by the ultraviolet radiation. Thus, various kinds of products different in length and/or diameter can be treated in versatile manner by the same device.
