Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance the lead detection accuracy by dislocating probe fixing table by the movement of a cum, shape thereof is almost equal to that of the lead of the object to be measured.
CONSTITUTION: Rotary encoder disc 3', turn table 7, object to be measured 12 such as screw which is fixed by chuck claw 9 on the turn table 7 and cum-ring 8 shape thereof is almost equal to that of the lead of the object 12, all of the above items rotate as a unitary body and moves vertically the probe fixing table 13 which closely contact with the cum face of the ring 8 thru the sliding roller 15. Turning position of the turn table 7 is detected by the optical rotary encoder detecter 32. Displaced distance of the table 13 is detected by the linear scale 22 which is provided with slits of the optical linear scale detecter 23 being installed on the table 13, and the obtained value is used as the displacement value of the table 13. On the other hand, probe 14 which is installed on the table 13 contacts with the lead of the object 11 and the lead is measured with the position of the table 13 as its criterion, and the arithmetic addition of the obtained value of the two makes an accurate standard lead. By adopting this device, comparison of data becomes unnecessary, influence of foreign matters collected on the cum surface such as dust is cancelled and measurement can be performed with ease and high accuracy.
