Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to exercise mixing control over a communication circuit whose major part is an analog circuit and a digital communication circuit by making communication controllers or terminal equipments correspond to terminating sets via start-stop circuit connecting adapter.
CONSTITUTION: When the logic level of received signal R becomes "1", incoming display Ci turns ON to turn data terminal ready signal ER ON and at the same time, FF12 is preset through AND between signals R and ER to turn data set ready signal RD ON. In addition, the logic level of transmitted data signal SD with communication OFF is "1", transmitted signal T is turned ON through AND between signals SD and ER. Once the level of signal R falls from "1"∼"0", counter 11 starts operating to reset FF12, and consequently the logic level of data set ready signal DR changes from "1" into "0". On detecting signal DR being OFF, signal ER turns OFF, causing signal T to turn OFF. Further, transmission request signal RS is made to correspond to transmission enable signal CS for interchangeability with a control program composed mainly of an analog circuit.
