Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of the control unit, by taking the control signal delivered to the line as simple combined signal of multifrequency audio signal. CONSTITUTION:A number of terminal units M0-Mn are in branch connection to the line La connected to the center station C. The center station C repetitively transmits the terminal state scanning signal and succeeding terminal address signal to the line La when the line La is vacant. When the signal reception circuit 1 of each terminal, decoder 2 and status monitor control section 3 detect the address of itself among the said address signal, if the terminal itself has the communication request, the response signal is delivered to the center station C via the transmission signal control section 6 and signal transmission section 7 in the timing succeeded to the time immediately after it. After that, the center station C performs various controls specified to the terminal having the response signal. When the terminal is called, the center station C delivers the callout start signal and the callout address and waites for the response from the terminal. The signal to control those controls is constituted with the combination of multifrequency signals entirely.
