Abstract

Special strings 2, wires 3, metal tapes 4 or the like are used separately or in combination as the reinforcing filaments. The wound band 1 is set in a metal die and heated and pressurized by a hotpress. According to this method, the reinforcing filaments 2W4 are easily embedded, a product of high rotational break-down strength is obtained and the friction properties of the clutch facing are not deteriorated.
