Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the title composition having excellent storage stability, useful for the simultaneous bonding and curing of a rubber to a rigid substrate, and composed of a halogen-containing bipolymer latex and a nitrogen-containing bipolymer latex.
CONSTITUTION: The title composition is prepared by mixing (A) 10W90wt% (solid basis) of a halogen-containing bipolymer latex obtained by the emulsion polymerization of (a) 95W5wt% of an α-haloacrylonitrile and (b) 5W95wt% of 2,3- dichloro-1,3-butadiene, and (B) 90W10wt% (solid basis) of a nitrogen-containing bipolymer latex obtained by the copolymerization of (c) a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound substituted by vinyl or α-substituted vinyl group, e.g. 2-vinylpyridine, vinylmidazole, etc., and (d) a conjugated diene monomer such as butadiene, isoprene, etc.
