Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure a molding of good quality through adjustment of inflow of resin and direction of flow by adopting a variable gate for the gate section of the mold having a direct gate or a multi-point gate in such a manner as to be controlled by the resin pressure in the cavity and the signal of a temperature detector. CONSTITUTION:The mold of the injection molding machine comprises a fixed mold 1, a mobile mold 2, a gate 4 and the like. A bar member 5 is provided at the position corresponding to the gate 4 of the machine. It is axially moved backward and forward with respect to the gate 4 by the command of a comparison arithmetic device 12 based on the output transmitted by a detector 10 for detecting the resin pressure, the direction of flow and the like to regulate the opening of the gate 4 thereby adjusting the inflow of the resin. A melted resin inflow groove 9 is provided on the surface A of the bar member facing the gate 4 and turned on the axis thereof based on the command of the comparison arithmetic device 12 to change the direction of resin inflow.
