CONSTITUTION: A permanent magnet 1 is fixed to the inner surface of a casing 5 and is supported at the centers of both ends of the casing 5 so that it can be rotated freely with respect to a hollow shaft 7. The core 2 around which copper wire 6 is wound is fixed to the hollow shaft 7 in the casing 5. The core 2 is made to be an electromagnet by flowing a current in the copper wire 6 through brushes 3 and commutators 4. The casing 5 is rotated by the magnetic forces of both the electromagnet and the permanent magnet.
