Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the transmission of vibration from a stator core to a stator frame in fixing the stator core to an attaching ring through a horizontal spring bar by intervening a vibration-reducing material between the horizontal-spring bar and an attaching ring.
CONSTITUTION: A horizontal wedge bar 7 extending in the axial direction is provided at the outside of a stator core 2, and the wedge bar 7 and an attaching ring 6 around the inside of a stator frame are fixed by a horizontal-spring bar 9. A vibration reducing material 15 comprising Cu-Mn system alloy and the like is intervened between the horizontal-spring bar 9 and the attaching ring 6. In this constitution, vibration of the stator core 2 is transmitted from the wedge bar 7 to the spring bar 9, where it is absorbed. The remaining vibration is absorbed by the vibration-reducing material 15. Therefore, transmission of vibration to the stator frame can be reduced.
